The Countrymen Crest
This coat of arms represents what we stand for and support as an organization.
5 stars for each of the five armed forces — Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard — charged with the daily defense of our nation at home and abroad.
The color Gold as the border on the United States flag, surrounding the red, white and blue as our nation’s military protects the borders of our nation. It also pays homage to the yellow ribbons tied around trees until our service members come home.
The color White represents the hope that American service members bring to freedom around the world.
The Skull and color Black represent death; the solemn price of freedom paid by our nation’s military, and issuance of fatal justice to our enemies.
The American flag which flies over hundreds of nations around the world, and is the symbol of that which we hold most dear, rests at the heart of our crest.
The numbers read 1776, the year the Declaration of Independence was signed starting the way for our country’s independence, and the year men started laying down their lives for the United States.
